Pagbuburnay or the art of making clay pots using the earthware called Burnay is a way of life in Vigan, Ilocos Sur in the northern part of the Philippines. It dates back from precolonial times, introduced by Chinese immigrants to the locals, who passed the art down from generations after generations.


The Burnayan or the place where these burnay jars are made is popular to tourist and travelers, attractin thousands of people annually.
