Bookmarks across the Miles

Communion by B. Patterson (KZ Riman)

Today, I received a mail from the most unlikely person in the world. Unlikely, because I never thought I would be able to share my interests with him – a man twelve hours behind, a man from miles and miles away.

B. Patterson may be one of the smartest people I know. Someone who isn’t afraid to give voice to his mind (in the most polite means possible, might I add), he usually commands attention. Everyone listens.

I know I do. And what strikes me most? He listens in return, and lets you know – even without offering too much unsolicited advise – that he is there.

“Every secret of a writer’s soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind is written large in his works.” – Virginia Woolf

That, my friends, is reason enough for me to scour his mind… and his writings.

Congratulations, B. Patterson on your debut novel, Communion!
